There is another post that started about a specific handgun.  I like to be informed and you probably do too so I did not want this to get lost in that other post.  Besides, I did not want to hijack that post.

Nearly every firearm company eventually has to issue a warning or recall.  Some more often than others.  I have some very strong feelings about this but have no intention of publishing them here.  Also, having looked at firearm recall tables many times over the years, I can tell you that some firearms have been recalled that have now somehow disappeared from this detailed list.  Money talks and lawyers can make it happen.  I would suggest the very best thing you can do is to know your firearm, know the manufacturer, and know the history of both.
