North Korea Ready To Denuclearize another Trump win

Looks like Trump has pulled it off again and shown he really has what it takes to bring them to the table. There is so much more happening that is below the surface and this is not only about NK but about a global control. But on many fronts Trump has played masterfully.

Score another diplomatic victory for Trump, whose hard line negotiating tactic appears to have generated a dramatic - and favorable for market - outcome. Moments ago futures spiked, 10Y yields jumped and the USDJPY bounced about 106 on what the FT dubbed a "diplomatic breakthrough" that North and South Korea have agreed to hold direct talks between their leaders with North Korea signalling it is willing to abandon its nuclear program "if regime security can be guaranteed."

Don't get too giddy. We've been down this road with the North Koreans before. If history is any judge, they can not be trusted to do as they say.

Agree with Meathead, let's see what happens. However, if it does happen, there is no doubt that Trump deserves full credit. Will he get it from the media, NO! But it will be totally the pressure he put on them that will have caused the North to denuclearize if it happens. Fingers crossed!

I dont disagree with either but I wonder why at this time did NK suddenly fold or how did NK get Nukes and technology so fast? Yes it is Trump but is it the direct confrontation or the war going on beneath the surface of politics?

Why did Eric Schmidt visit NK in 2013?

Probably because it's worked with the last 3-4 Presidents, so why not go to the bullpen for a proven closer? Pretty sure Saddam ok'd UN inspections to "stop a war", also. No reason not to talk, but I think we all know this is just a remake of Groundhog Day.

The official name of the country is "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" so I guess they could go either way, since they've got both parties in their name...

I heard a hour ago that China has come down with a hammer on anything going into NK.  This according to Jennifer Griffith or Griffin at Fox who stated that satellites are showing no border crossings.

I think a lot of the sanction busting has been done by Russian ships at sea and in their ports of Vladivostok. There was a good program on Frontline (I think) recently.

Bad News For Dems: Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump ... And He's Getting Credit For It
https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/household-income-trump-economy-optimism/

Growth: A new report shows that the median household income has climbed 3% since President Trump took office. It's another sign of a strong economy, and at least one poll shows the public credits Trump for the good news. Should Democrats wave bye to the Blue Wave?

Median household income has been steadily increasing under Trump, rising from $59,471 in January 2017 to $61,483 last month, according to Sentier Research, which tracks income on a monthly basis using census data.

This also means that household income is now higher than it's been in at least 50 years — after adjusting for inflation.

Since their big peace deal fell thru they have to have something else to gloat about.

I guess huge deficits are ok now that the republicans are running them?

It's running REALLLLLLY slow, but my order eventually went through.

You have to make a single selection, then wait a while, all the way through. I recommend using Paypal since that will offload the financial transaction side to Paypal's servers which aren't getting slammed as hard as the White House ones are. (Evidently so many people are trying to buy these coins it's bringing the website to it's knees)

Here's a direct link to the coin:

https://www.whitehousegiftshop.com/product-p/summitcoin.htm

Also, I found a generic coupon "GOV10" to knock a further 10% off. Every little bit helps!

Also also, it looks like Trump's 3D chess might be working, it seems after the North Koreans had stopped talking to our folks (Even standing up an envoy evidently), which prompted Trump to call it off, NOW all of a sudden they wanna talk again... So refreshing to have a president with a spine!
