finally got to a stealership and sit on one but no test drive, was 38 degrees and rainy/sleeting out. Will have to wait for winter to get done here mid April in WI another 3-4 inches expected tonight and thru Sunday night...

It sat really comfy and ergos were good.
Bike felt super lightweight apparently the engine is slanted down and LOW so center of gravity, to me anyway, makes it feel like a 300lb. bike vs. 500lber.. I could care less how fast 0 to 60 mph it goes but am sure is adequate for passing if need be am sure it will go 90 mph if needed to.
Dealer said they do not sell well and thinks soon they will no longer be made so residual/resell value will remain high. Undecided on automatic but most are automatic and/or paddle shifters on left handlebar which I guess I could get used to but really would prefer 6 speed normal clutch. The mid 60 mpg would be nice though for a commuter bike. Their over 5K asking price though for bone stock was too high for my blood looking at biuying for 3500 or so with accessories like taller windshield for sure and side bags and/or luggage rack on back. Just have to be patient for one turning up not a stealership but private party sale.
I looked up new msrp and is near 8K but no idea on rebates, if any. Seems crazy high for a mid sized cruiser to me. Sat also on a ctx1300 and ergos were good on that as well used for 10 grand. That new honda rebel 500cc is a dinky little thing as well as that little pit bike called the honda grom 125cc.
One bike I did sit on was the new yamaha full dresser 1900cc vtwinkie, man oh man, was that fairing front end EXTREMELY top heavy was a beat to even turn the handlebars and get it off the sidestand made our 800lb. Valks feel like a dirtbike, well almost...
