The @#$@@## battery was too low so I hooked up the battery tender jr for a few hours and almost at 5pm I went to start the Valkyrie and the dragon roared

It was only a short ride, didnt bother with the electronic as it was over 32 degrees and I knew it would be a short ride with the sun so low in the sky.   Saw the county police vehicle immediately and remembered where he was on the way back   angel police angel

Seems to take a few miles before the wheels feel balanced but that is ok. After about 5 miles all felt as it should.

Never exceeded 80  and the smile will hold me till the next snowfall melts. Supposed to snow again tomorrow night into Tuesday if I read the weather right

Thank you to all who have been posting real ride reports to help us with the PMS

That bridge looks familiar. I might have followed some GoldWings across that thing.  Smiley

Good for you Evan!  cooldude My last day of work was Friday,  coolsmiley I officially retired the 9th after 44 years in that shop and can fire up the Valk while the sun is highest and the temps warmest during the day. Hope to get a ride in tomorrow. Looking forward to this not going to work thing!  Grin

Good that you got out for a ride even if it was short.  Thanks for posting.

Glad you got out OSS! I didn't ride but, changed the oil, aired the tires and cleaned her up. Then fired her up. I start my bikes off and on all winter. They all sleep on a Jr all winter, plus the Valk has a new battery. I may sneek in a ride tomorrow if it doesn't do something weather wise. I see a bunch of sand on the roads again from the last blast.

Evan,

First, congrats for getting out! We do understand... all of us! Lots of support on here from fellow addicts, so feel free to vent any ol' time!!! Nothing else like it to those of us so inclined, though, so ride on and do keep us posted!!!   cooldude

Evan (Oss) and folks on the east side, let it be known that we on the other side are getting ready for additional storms coming tomorrow.  These storms will be headed your way in a couple - four days.

BUT we are going to enjoy another day of above temps with lots of sun.   It was that way yesterday when I got in 160 plus mile ride.  Very enjoyable ride.

Glad you got in a quick ride.
