trailer wiring

 Found a nice bushtec roadstar ,got the wiring necessary from them ,hooked everything using the the wire connection from the regular 4 pin trailer harness that came already installed on the bike but then ,nothing .I would like to restart the wiring process but having a hard time locating a schematic that is readable. I know some have the bushtec harness , any tips? thanks

  The bikes have European wiring. The trailer has American. A power converter is the easy way to go. There are several kinds . Some have the converter at the rear , some in the front part of the wiring.
  I have used both and did not have problems.  European wiring 5 wires , American 4 wires.

I thought the Bushtecs have a 5 wire lighting system. It might be simpler than you think.

Another advantage of a trailer light converter is that they often take their power directly from the battery so that your trailer lights don't overload the vehicle's wiring.  This is not an issue if your small trailer's lights are LEDs.

Thanks ,I was frustrated last night as the lights would not come on ,turns out the trailer p.o. had the wiring jumbled-up on the trailer, am still trying to get the brake lights to come on

Here is what I used on mine when I started pulling a trailer behind the old girl. I wired it into the tongue of my trailer.

That s funny as I have the 6 square plug still in the bag unused . but after talking with the bustec people they convinced me to get their harness to match the trailer s plug {big price diff. ) But they were very helpful. the wiring in the trailer was shorting out ,so am in the process of sorting, rewiring,isolating all connections.Put new bearings on the wheels and waiting for the new tires to be delivered. maybe it will be ready for Inzane to carry spares and camping equipment.

Up-date on the wiring, turns out Bushtec had a bad batch on isolators and harnesses and were very helpful in sending a new set and all is well! Good P.R. from them ,they were great
