Rifle Fairing

I am looking for opinions and/or tips from anyone who has installed a rifle fairing on a standard or Tourer. Yes I know about Woody's fairings and Memphis shades etc. Just want opinions from anyone who has installed a rifle fairing. Did you go with the painted fairing? Quality? Installation issues? Thanks!

I haven't seen one on a Valkyrie. You might have a unique Valk if you install one.

I have Rifle Lowers. Someone there at Rifle has a Valkyrie or likes em because they make products specifically for the Valkyrie.

As for their lowers they are quality, and their customer service is good.

The Rifle Raven fairing might be a good option because being made for the Valkyrie it might be an easy install.

@Darksider, yes that's the one. I'm having them paint it to match the bike. I have more questions than answers about it, but I guess I'll be answering many of them myself. For example, they provide a new headlight. That implies that I need to remove the existing headlight bucket. What do I do with the wires (and grounds) and indicator LEDs? My guess is they provide new holes for the indicator LEDs in the fairing. I changed the risers on my bike, will the handlebars now interfere with the fairing? Will I still be able to use my non-Rifle lowers? I believe this is a fork mounted setup, but I'd sure like to take a peek at the install instructions. I've looked everywhere but I can't get a good picture of the inner fairing on a Valkyrie. The one bad picture I found (link below) looks like I have to relocate the speedo and Tach to the handlebars, but not sure on that either. That brings up the question of brackets and longer cables. So, you can see why I am looking for someone with it installed. Perhaps you're right about the scarcity of them on our bikes. It should be interesting. I'll post pics as I go through the install.
Edit: Now that I am staring at this little picture in the link, the speedo and Tach are definately farther apart than standard (more than likely to accommodate the radio) , but those brackets on the handlebar are for the fairing, not the speedo and Tach. Rifle must provide relocation brackets in that case, but not to the handlebar. There would be no other ones available. I've seen relocation brackets for other fairings (Woody's for example) but those are to the handlebar. I'll say this, if Rifle figured all of this out and provides every part for a smooth install I'll be very impressed.

As I recall, the headlight bucket is removed and the three indicator lights are relocated to the fairing above the square hole where your cassette player goes. The two top fairing mounts connect to the handlebars. A long bracket for the speedo and tach stretches between the two handlebar mounts passing just in front of the handlebar risers and attaching to the handlebar on either side of the risers.

I for one would appreciate pics, expecially of the inner fairing, and the how to s when you receive it Harry.   I had had to other items from Rifle and they are quality.  For me I wanted to know how big the speaker holes were, how many they had, and cut out for the receiver.  I sent emails to Rifle about 3 years ago and never got a reply.

I really like the looks of it, although I think most do not.  But a different style of fairing drew me to a Victory Cross Country only to find it is the best riding big v twin on the market, with great power.

@Alpha Dog , I'd be glad to post pics when I get it. It has not shipped yet. I agree about the looks of it, not for everyone.
