Well, I've been awaiting the day when those who've violated their oath to the people of this country will pay, but I've learned not to get my hopes up. I've seen more dog and pony shows than I care to speak of, but I do hope that this means that something is really happening. As you said, a lot of firepower for a state DOC meeting.

That is more than likely it since I was actually able to see it live and that was the issue. I cannot believe that inmates getting cell phones perpetrated this.

Big problem in prisons. NC had at least one case where a gang leader had orchestrated the kidnapping of the DA that had put him there (but they kidnapped her father instead). I kept thinking "why don't they put cell jammers in all prisons" so even if they got the phone - they would be useless.

Take all the common areas of the prisons and just fill them with cages. Don't let these animals socialize with each other, don't let them have anything. The hell with prisoners rights, cruel and unusual punishment, whatever. Lock them in cages and don't let them out until their time is up. Alot less problems that way. Make prison a place nobody wants to go to and crime will go down.

Or just start hanging people every Saturday at high noon on the courthouse lawn. No need for prisons when you don't  have anyone to put in them. I'm of course the belief that if you deserve to go to prison for a life sentance you also deserve to have your life taken. If caught stealing you lose a hand, caught again you hang.

have made mistakes.

I've always felt that we should banish all the federal prisoners out in the wilderness of Alaska and let them live or die on their wits and capabilities.
