Swing Arm Lock Nut Wrench

I need a Swing Arm Lock Nut Wrench, any one know where I can purchase one, or beg or borrow one ?

Have you tried Hal at HDL?  If not you will have to call to locate the wrench.
I don't have the # handy as I'm not at home.  Won't be there till 9:00 AM or after. Got to get 2 signatures first.

Do you know LaMonster, VRCC # 1?

Lives in TN now, he has one.

State of Washington, Tacoma. Ride a Red and Black 2KIS I have one with the allen wrench that I made. If you cannot find one closer drop me a e-mail. I grease my swing arm every other year. So I use it every other year.

Thanks, if I cannot find one locally, I will contact you. I pulled mine down, replaced the bearings, races etc. I have the allen, just cannot tighten the left side lock nut.

Friend of mine made (welded) a portion of the tool needed, he has long since left the area but I still have it. Gave it to me when he moved. I have to look at it again but I think all it needs is a handle of some sort welded on to it. I think I know where it is in my mess out there.   Somewhere in buried in my computer is also a drawing giving dimensions, which might give a clue as to the handle location, size, etc......I'll go hunting in the meantime.

Correction: the handle also needs a square hole in it for the torque wrench.

The lock nut wrench is not required.
Torque the middle allen bolt and then mark its position with a felt pen.
Take your modified socket and torque the lock nut.
You will then notice that the middle allen bolt has not moved!  
Works for many people. Good luck!

You staying warm up yonder, lots of nasty weather blowing around this year it seems. It all reminds me of the weather when stationed at Loring AFB in the Caribou, Maine region back in the late 50' and early 60's. If we only got 100" of snow it was a light year. So what's the chances you'll make it to Michigan for InZane this year?

I have one that I have lent through the mail several times. A local member has it at the moment. If you don't come up with one soon let me know and I will see that you get it.

LOL! Sorry about that John but, as you know, many from the "old" tech board use that trick.
