If I can get someone to stay with Rita I'd sure like to do this. Might get my grandson-in-law (granddaughter's husband) to ride with me. He's the one that bought my 1200 project bike last May and now rides a VTX1300. His wife, my granddaughter, rode the 1200 for a while after getting her bike endorsement, and last week got a Honda Stateline....not familiar with it but nice looking bike.

:-\ Bummer, I'd like to make this Mike only 400 miles away but have a Conference in N. Orleans 5th & 6th. Please put this together again soon. I could leave on a Friday afternoon and get half way to Tallahassee before getting into Howey Sat. around 10:30 for lunch is very dooable. I could probably get a few other too.  :coolsmiley:

Too bad Keith. We will do this one again soon then. I have been wanting to do a Perry lunch that's almost a meet in the middle for you and me, I used to spend one night a week there for years, i did frequent a Mexican place that would make a nice gathering spot.  :-\

:cooldude: That would be great Mike. I just got back from a ride with Jeff, Flsix. We went as far in AL as you pretty much could, Ft. Payne. On the way back while in Tallahassee I mentioned to him I'd like to put together a North FL ride for a long weekend for our FL / S. GA Valk brothers. There are some really nice roads around Tallahassee and S. GA.  :smitten: I'd put it on the board maybe in the summer for a fall ride? What do you think? Only problem is College Football weekend in the Fall so would have to pick a good weekend. Also, I think I can secure a good price on Staybridge Inn off I-10 and  East Hway 90.
Let me know your thoughts. Thx,  :coolsmiley:

Sound like you and Jeff had a nice ride. We will see if a fall ride is possible, my dang job only gives me one week a year and I need to visit some family this year, but post it up you never know who may take you up on it.

The weather should be o.k. for Saturday. Jim if you can make it we will meet at our usual spot on 40 and 17 about 9 a.m. then a stop at the kangaroo on 19 and 42 in altoona about 9 40, we might pick up a purple white valk there.

I would like to thank everyone, but especially SixLow for inviting me and welcoming me today.  I had a blast and rode further than I have in years.  I really thought I took good care of my bike but after seeing all the beautiful machines today I think I need to get out the polishing rag!

Cheers to all!

Yesterday was indeed a great day for a ride. A little foggy early in the morning, but after we left the Sunoco, all was well. Great to see everybody and chew the fat before the Restaurant opened. George, it was nice to meet you. Hope to see you on more of our rides in the future.
