For some reason a certain venerable rider's name popped into my head before I even finished reading the title...

Daniel,

My work may be done! For years back when I first started riding beyond the heart of Dixie, I pondered the plight of the poor, underprivileged folks far and wide having no exposure to the wonders of ground-up corn fixed just right. I even wondered if perhaps my calling in life might have been to spread the word about that delicacy!

I received a few invitations from restauranteurs in far away places to return with some grits and cook them there... I was told that if they liked them, they would be added to the menu. It occurred to me that I just may have been destined to become the 'Johnny Appleseed' of grits! Alas, I did not follow-up on that...

My procrastination may have delayed the spread of the 'good news', but in my heart I just knew such a wonderous thing would not long remain isolated to one specific geographic region. Having already learned that 'redneckery' is also not confined to one particular region, it appears this will certainly spread far and wide now that such a 'hey y'all, watch this...' event includes this sort of sport...

Watch for a menu item addition coming soon to a restaurant near you: The desperate plight of non-southerners is about to end!!!

DDT
Don't just dream it... LIVE IT!

See ya down the road...

This thread has me struggling with whether or not to spend the next hour and a half driving over
to the good breakfast place for some grits and eggs and sausage...  :smitten: it is a beautiful spring day out
and there's many other things I aim to do today  ???

Ride and eat FIRST then you will know how much time you have left for "chores"! And when it's supper or evening meal time eat desert first then you'll Know how much room you'll have fer the meal.  RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

I neither ate at the good breakfast place nor rode... I loaded up some junk for the dump
and me and the dog went to get a biscuit at Chick-Fil-A and tossed out the stuff at the dump.

I had to say good-bye to these rusty old drilled-out rashed-up Valkyrie mufflers... there's a
couple of wasted Valkyrie shocks in that pile too...
