I lusted after one of these since High School; the monster Munch Mammoth.
A hand built german motorcycle with a hot rodded NSU car motor. The ultimate autobahn blitzer from the late sixties to the late seventies.

P.S. (hint,...hint) my birthday is coming up in November,....just in case you'd care to get me something special.

That seat makes the bike look like it means business. Was it available in a tourer?
I've read about the Munch4, but I'm not sure I have ever saw one before.

BIG IV,

You may have read about the new re-incarnation of the 2000cc Mammoth. That is not the same company. Sort of like the Gilroy Indians vs the original Springfield Indians.

The original Munch Mammoths were hand made to each customers needs and wants. Some had the standard 1000cc motor with twin solex carbs, and the top performer was the 1200cc supercharged and fuel injected motor with high RPM/HP cams. Power ranged from about 80 HP to somewhere near 180 HP.

No two were alike, and they are now some of the most sought after motorcycles by collectors. Jay Leno has at least one at this time.

I like it  :cooldude: I rode a Yamaha XS 1100 back then and that bike still crosses my mind all the time.I'd love to ride that .

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

I have never heard about this bike before.
I like it.... (did they come in yellow?)
I searched on google, but didn`t find out where they was made?

The question is not what you look at...but what you see...
