Bolt Size

New on these boards with a new question!
I bought a 2003 Valkyrie not too long ago. It came with a bunch of extra stuff including a Kuryakyn Spark Plug Chromed Covers which I removed and threw away.
I am left with the standoff stud still attached to the bike. I plan on removing it and installing a regular bolt instead.
Does anybody know the thread size (I assume an M6), the length and the torque value?
I tried to post pictures but it seems like my experience of over 20 years on different message boards couldn't offer me any help!
This bolt is on the left side of the bike, down by the sparkplugs, the first bolt that holds a little chrome bracket.
Hope this link works.

Thank you!

Not an easy part to find...but pretty sure it's part #15, 6x14 flange bolt shown in the following diagram...

Generic torque value for a 6mm bolt is 7 lbf-ft.  Shouldn't be critical in this application.  I used a chrome socket head cap screw when I took my spark plug covers off.  Hated to have to remove them to check my spark plugs...made a couple minute job more time consuming.

Don't know where you live. Once you find the screw size, try an Ace Hardware store if you have them in your area. The one by my house has all kinds of hardware both metric and inch sizes in steel, stainless, and chrome.

Thanks for the replies.
It is #15 indeed.

My local Lowes hardware has a huge selection of metric chrome bolts.
Good luck in your quest.
