Clutch Master Cylinder

  Can anyone tell me if there is another master cylinder from another Honda that is the same as the Valkyrie? I need one for the bike I have because the mirror threads are bad. if there is one that will give me a better chance of finding one.   Thanks Dannie

Which master cylinder are you referring to? The clutch, or the brake?

Yeah Mike, I saw that.  While I can't say for sure, pretty sure all Standards and Tourers use the same one and the only difference I could see on the Interstates was the clamp piece, yet it's listed in $90 range.

Don't believe the master cylinder is used on any other honda, but that doesn't mean some other models wouldn't work.

Seems like a lot of work trying to figure out which one would.

This one will interchange, but likely more expensive!
Not positive, but I THINK it was OEM for the VTX 1800's.

I paid $137.40 at Partzilla.

My thanx to Sundaram Raman, a friend and member here. He is a wise man.

Bought it simply because of approximately 50% less 'squeeze pressure' needed.
Old left hand injuries made it worth replacing the original clutch cylinder, to me.

From memory the VTX has a slightly smaller piston clutch master.... which will work and give you a lighter clutch to use but has a little more movement to work.... I looked at swapping them but never got around to it

There have been filks that have replaced them with HD masters with no problems. Q master cylinder is a master cylinder. Getting it to mount to your buke is a different problem all together.
