First of all, even though I have been a VRCC member for many years, this is my first post to the Florida board.  Greetings fellow Floridians!

Until recently I spent time in both TN and FL...but now I pretty much stay put in south Florida.

Since I knew a place I trusted not to damage my rims up in TN, I always had new rubber mounted up there.  If anyone has had tires mounted in the Naples (or Fort Myers) area, any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance...
Jim

Hey Jim.

Great to see you posting here and welcome to the Florida board.
I have bought some hard to find  parts from you in the past and always a great experience.
Jeff McKay is in your are, maybe he will log in and point you to a place.

Thank you Jack, likewise it has always been a great experience dealing with you.  On another topic, if I'm not mistaken you have the beautiful '97 Tourer that just went on the market.  If didn't already have a garage full of motorcycles, I would have added that perfect specimen to my collection.

Someone is going to get a great bike.

Thanks Jack and Jeff for helping me out.  It turns out that Fred's Cycle shop was just what I was looking for.

Hey Jim

You got some nice looking rides  :cooldude: :cooldude:

Yellow Valk looks great with the Corbin bags, she looks great fro behind  ;D
is that a painted emblem on the tank?
Maybe post a pic  :cooldude:

The Green Tourer left the stable today, it is being shipped to the UK.
She did turn out great and I am sure her new owner will be very happy

Thanks Jack,

Yes that is a painted Raven (I think) on the tank.  It is a bit strange how I ended up with this bike, I had absolutely no intention of buying it.  I was on a boring conference call one day, when I happened to open eBay to pass the time when I saw this bike.  It turns out that the guy that owned it was a Congressman from El Paso, TX.  He had a huge warehouse where he collected toys.  When he put the bike in his warehouse it had ethanol gas in it.

Fast forward, he put it on eBay explaining that it didn't run.  I bid $4,000 on it and quite frankly I forgot about it.  Later that week I found out that I had bought a bike!  Luckily I had a friend in Oklahoma who drove out and picked it up for me.

Following is a photo where you can zoom in on the tank.

If I didn't already have a 3rd bike (link below), that Green Tourer of yours would not be on its way to the UK.  I simply didn't have room for a 4th bike.

Looks great and goes well with rest of bike, seems like you really keep your bikes on the shinny side  :cooldude:
You should submit a pic for next year's VRCC calendar
