Thoroughly  enjoyed the Series and fantastic that Washington Nationals took home the trophy.  Well deserved and earned as they closed out the regular season with a flourish and then did what they had to do as a team in the post season to defy the odds makers in beating "better and younger" teams.


Now they are freed up for a little while to ride motorcycles, lounge on a beach, or go fishin' until their training schedules rope them back into the gym; so goes the life of a dedicated professional athlete.

  Thought it was a great series. Kind of strange how the away team won every game. I'm especially glad they overcame that horrendous call in game 6.

Replay is of value as no man is perfect....however, if an electronic strike zone is instituted with strikes and balls being called by some computer...well, just sign me out and I'll stick with hockey. 

On the ice, the officials review to see if a skate blade is or is not in contact with the blue line for an onside/offside has caused too many stoppages and recalling of good goals with the new rule.  It will be (at least I hope it will) reversed by the owners for the 2020 season.      
Keep the game moving; the speed of it is one of it's defining and basic characteristics,

Both teams totally destroyed the home field advantage and took both stadiums' fans out of the equation.  First time it's ever happened in World Series baseball history.  How 'bout that?
