Had the feeding tube removed last week, still having chemo, I am on number 7 of 12 treatments.
Chemo is rough, getting real heavy doses of the drugs. Sick as a dog for 3 to 4 days after,
but feel pretty good after it wears off. Still shedding the lbs, weighed 239 in July, now down to 175. 64 lbs lost. Most of my clothes no longer fit, went from a 44 in waist to 36 in. Feel fair, just weak most of the time. getting another PET scan in Jan, will know what progress I have made getting rid of the cancer.
But getting rid of the weight is a great side effect. But makes me look a lot older  :tickedoff:

The first step in getting somewhere is deciding that you are not going to stay where you are.

Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it.  Seems like every thing is hitting us lately, our well went dry a couple days ago, so hooking up to county water, and yikes, $2000 impact fee really stings.
had to take out a loan today to pay for it. seems when your are down every thing hits below the belt.
but we will survive.

I haven't been to enough VRCC events to meet you Grumpy, but hope to in the future.  It sounds like you have a great reputation and have been a big help to a lot of people.   I pray for the best outcome possible so you can get back in the saddle again.  BTW, if loosing the weight makes you look older, does that mean I should put on some weight to look younger?  ☺
