Clutch master cylinder

I need to replace my clutch master cylinder on a 1999 Valkyrie Interstate CL. Is there any other bikes that will work for it. I found a lot on ebay but most will not fit the Interstate.  Thanks Bill

I bought a new OEM one for less than $100. I think it waas Partzilla. Check different year models, they all interchange.

VTX 1800 will also work, has a smaller piston so will be a lighter clutch with a little more travel
I use one of the early VTX masters on my VT1100 as it was cheaper (varies between models)

Second Leathel on the VTX1800 M/Cyl. Fitted to both my Valks with no problems. Considerably lighter pull for those of us with worn out hands (my reason for fitting). Part no. 22890-MCH-006

If you want Valkyrie M/C, here's a few links.  Part number 4.  Buy new and you at least know you've got a good one compared to a salvaged part.

The only difference between standard and interstate is the mounting bracket, which you already have attached to your current master cylinder assembly.  The actual master cylinder assemblies are the same.

After doing some Ebay haggling I ended up purchasing a VTX 1800 clutch MC. My hand just can't handle the stock pressure anymore. I hope this alleviates my issue.

Put the VTX clutch MC on today w/o much of hitch. Quite a improvement vs stock. My hand really likes it.

When I received the package the fluid ran out of the master cylinder and was almost completely penetrating thru the box itself. Contacted seller and mentioned what happened. Their response was they always keep fluid in the MC to avoid the seals from drying out. My thought, fine until you ship them but I would empty it then notify buyer with memo that the fluid has been drained and replenish ASAP when you receive the MC. That fluid is very caustic to most finishes it encounters and other materials.

On a note, the MC banjo thread is M10x1.25. The reason mentioned this is I'm going to purchase a 12-16 mm lg. hex bolt and a o'ring to lightly seal the MC for storage purposes.
