Anybody have a set of Valkyrie carbs I can rebuild so I don't have to tear down the bike for an extended period by removing mine? Just tossing out the question, don't want to tie up the bike more than a day since riding is limited up here as yet....snow predicted as a possibility for Monday.  :tickedoff:

Think I saw a set on ebay, the other day. However, if you have the parts kit, you can go through the carbs and have them back on before lunch. Hmm, unless you have all the smog stuff. Forgot about that, since mine doesn't have the extras. Even with the smog junk, you can do it in a day.

Yes, I have the kits. They're from All Balls, complete with everything but my time and solvent. I found an ultra-sonic cleaner I want, but not at "my price"....might bust for it anyway, use it to clean my false teesh!   ;D  Right now it's simply too cold for my old bones to be working in the garage so it will have to wait for a few sunny days which are far and few between up here in winter. I know it's officially Spring, but I woke up to a new snow fall a couple days ago, and 25 deg. the next morning.  >:(

Have a line on a spare set of carbs, and they're ok with me rebuilding and installing them and giving my current set to them. That way the bike should only be down a few hours if all goes right on that day.
