It's worth it just to see the hilarious mask wearing people.

Many must buy these masks on line. They look like they are made from diaper material but hard shell shaped like half a bra. The have non adjustable straps that go around the ears but they are so heavy they hang. Most don't cover the nose  and some don't even cover the mouth all the way. They spend lots of time touching their face to keep it at least covering their mouth. The only purpose they can possibly serve is as a drool cup. But they look so serious and snide as I go by with no mask. Like I'm the irresponsible one. 

I know for some this is serious but for most of the country it's fear mongering at this point.

I have been seeking into one of our grocery stores early on Sunday's mornings.  About half the folks do wear mask, all the store's folks wear mask.  I do put one on before going in for now.  probably will continue for a while.   Haven't had  felt the urge to go to Wally world to watch the folks there.

Our gym has reopened as of May 15.   I started going back on Monday.  No one is wearing mask including the owner.  but then only 5-8 folks have been in there when I go.  Not much difference in number of users as before the Virus hit.  The gym is allowed to have up to 25 folks in there according  to dear Governor.

can not get in store with no mask or face covering in ny  We go to Costco or BJ's and I go to a Shoprite just over the NJ border on Sunday to get mom's food. Have to remember tomorrow that the liquor store opens at noon as she is out of Gin     (running low on Tonic water as well)

I went to get a haircut yesterday.  Had a mask, did not wear it.  Hair stylist (AKA Barber) wore a mask and gloves and an apron. 

Picked up some Makers Mark for me and some Bombay Sapphire for the wife at the liquor store.  Three lines open, just one in line in each one when I checked out. 

About half and half wearing masks, I did not wear one.  Seems most wearing masks probably should have been.

Seems you have a keen sense of who may be asymptomatic and where it's safe to be.  

Regarding the OP I try not to concern myself with what anyone wears, including masks. Especially in Wal-Mart!

I have no problem with people who chose to wear a mask. I was commenting on the increased number of people wearing totally ineffective masks or worse creating a situation for themselves that more risk than simply not wearing it. No common sense

I am in the Post Office yesterday and a woman pulls her mask down to lick large envelope which postal person just handed her after placing in object.

My wife (40 year RN mostly in the NICU)  tells me people who are not in the habit and or not trained in the proper wearing of a mask will wear it and remove it improperly and touch there face way more frequently.

She is 100% correct. They will touch their faces 100x more if not accustomed to wearing one. I wear one everyday at work and have for 35 yrs. I get a huge chuckle out of people thinking they are doing something that is gonna save them. But if it makes em fell better I guess.

Figured things would be a little easier in Tallahassee without a mask rather than South Florida and they are to a limited extent. Haven't really had to put on a mask too many times and won't Unless no option. Eating out has been kind of interesting servers wear a mask but nobody else does. Talked to a girl in Home Depot who has a part-time job there because she lost her job with no benefits. Well one thing good about mask if people usually say it and spray it at least Will stop. Otherwise pretty nonsensical

Sneezing into a full face helmet is not so much fun, especially the big wet ones   

So I have taken to wearing the cheap surgical mask when riding if the pollen index is maxxed out

Only one place that requires a mask in two counties I reside/shop, friggin' Menards but they have been giving 11% off for about 4 wks.+ straight. Glove usage would be better if folks would sanitize as often as you would do your bare hands otherwise, not. This whole thing has been debacle as how to stay safe w/o using common sense or the lack there of.

What's really sad about this situation is that one cannot blame only  the younger generations for being brainwashed and easily driven into submission. Look at how the old farts have reacted to the buggy woman named Corona, and how stupid they look and act. As far as masks go, most people that I see with them versus not actually look better with them (including me). LOL  They are starting a new motorcycle ride, tee shirt shop, and other things. Called DragonSlayer160 (check them out on Facebook just getting it started)  Its Hwy 160 from Lynch, Ky. to Appalachia, Va.  Its a very good motorcycle ride, watch for Black Bears (they are plenty). Some of you local riders have rode it before, since I live here, hit me up for a ride.

 My brother and I have been busy working on my dad's book the last couple of months. We needed extra help proofreading the more the 60 stories. My sister said she would help. Now she is asthmatic,has been for most of her life. She has been self quarantined since this started. She told she would help but only if I sanitized the USB stick the story is on and put it in a zip lock bag and put it along with a printed hard copy of the story on a shelf outside her front door. I agreed. We dropped it off at her  door and stepped into the yard so she could get the envelope containing both the USB stick and the stories on paper on the shelf. She asked "did you sanitize the USB". I said "I did, but what about the 200 pages of paper in the envelope that Chris and I have touched." .."Oh didn't think about that. I will just wash my hands when I'm done." I rolled my eyes and walked back to the car.

Yesterday she hosted a cookout for memorial day. She would only allow 4 people to sit at the table to eat. Social distancing she said. The others had to eat outside. She's my sister and I love her but that was ridiculous....

There is no evidence that the virus can be transferred on porous paper. No chance of passing it on. One reason they are reopening schools here soon.

for those with a Cpap machine? Do you have a sanitizer? I didn't like the $500 price for the one on TV. Same type online for like $50 (everything comes from China). I'm In the laundry business, and we use Ozone as a disinfectant/bleach fr washers. It's a gas, and acts just like bleach. Seems 7 min through your Cpap hose is enough to disinfect it. Would also make a good disinfectant for Wuhan virus.

Yup, I've got the soclean and regularly throw in a mask to sanitize.  My wife is currently working on a covid ward so I regularly  wear a mask so I don't accidentally pass anything along to others.  Strange isn't it, we are senior citizens, supposedly more vulnerable than most and we are probably more exposed than most.
