Buy yourself a Butler map, you'll find more roads than you may have time for. The million $ hwy is always a good bet.

You will loose some power the higher up you go but the bike should run fine. I went to the top of the Rocky Mountain national park with no problems at over 12000 feet. I really felt the difference coming down when the power came back.
