Most missile warheads will not arm until they have traveled a certain (safe) distance.... then again, if it plopped out in front of me, I'd run my azz off too.

I'm confused.  Is the white flag supposed to come out of the missle?  Is is supposed to plant a white flag in front of oncoming tanks?

Those are very nasty little missiles. Google "TOW missile". it looks remarkably similar.
