It's a miracle.    Nice work.

You could probably hit that lightly with some urethane rattle can (satin, not gloss or flat) for near perfection (but probably a poor match with the other side).  

Or maybe rub a bit of mink oil and/or Kiwi black shoe polish on it (just as filler).

I'm amazed you actually were able to retrieve all those parts.  The few times something exploded off my bike (or a car ran over my saddlebag lid) I was lucky to find a few shredded parts.  And I had to play dodge-ball with freeway traffic running around looking for them.

What adhesive did you use?

I Plastic Welded all the peaces back together.

Took me a while to find all the pieces because they were spread out over an area about 50 yards long.
Next I need to replace the texture and then flame the surface to put the shine back, that's a little tricky.

Maybe get rid of the texture all together and bondo it smooth, then repaint to match bike colors

I used some spray primer, took a rag and dabbed it lightly when it started to tack up. Practice on something first. Different rags leave different textures.  betta art decorative fish bowl
