Just to show how brain dead some people are....I recently was in the local supermarket and was checking out the turkeys in a center aisle freezer. I had picked up a big one to turn over so as to look at the weight and price and this woman on the other side of the freezer questioned me on my plans. She looked to be in her 40s or 50s, asked in an alarmed voice while looking at the size of the bird I was holding..."you're not planning on having a big gathering for T'giving are you? You're just the type of person causing the spread"....standing there with the mask over just her mouth. I replied...."oh my no, that's too dangerous so I'm going to Denny's restaurant for dinner." She gave me a thumbs up and walked away smiling. An older lady standing next to me looked at the other woman, shaking her head made a one word comment; "dumbass."  I had to chuckle, the lady was at least my age or possibly older, and followed with a few more remarks I won't share here except to say it was quite a vocabulary.

Same here.  I got the microwave Stouffer's turkey, gravy, dressing dinner all ready to go.

Just went shopping. We're going to try game hens instead of turkey. I bought ALL of them. We will have enough for one whole bird for as many as come. There will be a trash can at the door to drop your mask in. All I ask is don't come if you aren't well. That should apply always. We will not be 6 feet apart from one another

Shove a light up some folks ass and the room will light up every time they speak.

It might do wonders for any virus you may have. Ya never know.

I would enjoy T'giving dinner more if one individual didn't show. Not a relative of mine thank goodness. He can't seem to speak without using generally foul language and to make it worse, as he has more to drink the worse it gets. Hardly a sentence is spoken without him dropping one or more "F" bombs, it gets so tiring....and disgusting. I finally said something last year since it was happening in front of all the little kids as well. His answer...."maybe you need to grow up!"  I suggested I wasn't the one that needed "growing up." If he starts early this Thursday, I'll probably leave before we eat. Maybe his brother, my SIL, will say something this time....sure hope so. If not, I'll eat at Olive Garden or similar.
