I just got off the phone with him.  Called yesterday on a family members phone and HE called me back!  He does sound good.  Says he has been up and walking already but will probably be there a few days.

I would recommend that you send him those ecards.  I am sure they will help brighten his day.

I just want to Thank everyone again for showing the LOVE for Magoo. Even though I haven't been on here much this is still a GREAT Board.

Just got off of the phone with my sister-in-law and she said he is doing fine. He is walking around and he may be released tomorrow, but will stay 1 more night at the hotel and head home Saturday. He is on solid food now.

He is getting the e-mails that are being sent to him and that has brightened his day. He does has his cellphone with him if anyone wants to call him. But, please wait until tomorrow ( Friday) to call him.

Magoo is doing well.  Fine spirits.  Up and walking around.

Went and visited him this morning along with Lyn-Del (Phyllis) and Wizard (Duane).  We must have stayed and talked for about 2 hours.  Probably wore him out, but said he was just waiting for them to release him, hopefully, later today.  Spending the night in motel here in Houston, then driving home.  They do want him to stop and walk a little every hour though.  His Mom and Lorri had gone out to buy him a pair of pants to be released in.  Maybe in Louisiana they let him out wearing that little hospital thingy, but not here in Texas.  We surely stayed long enough, but apparently not long enough to meet his Mom and Lorri.

We also delivered the papers signed at the Houston VRCC meeting Wednesday night to him.

Says he has gotten a lot of the email cards and has sent a lot of them home already.
