Had a nice ride this afternoon up through the Fraser Canyon. On my way back down coming into Hope, I'll  be gall-darned if those REAL Three Sisters didn't just appear on the horizon right in front of me as I rounded the last bend  before my turnoff to home. Man, those Three Sisters sure do like get around  ;)

Could see them from  the living room of our hotel  when we were in Canmore
One of the best vacation weeks ever...icefields parkway, glacier Park, pie in st mary. Waterfalls. Glaciers. Hot springs. Bow lake, jasper elk/bison meatloaf

I always wanted to head up that way, its a long way from SC.

sure beats the rolling hills and farmlands of WI, pretty boring around here.

you live in a very lucky area for sure, great views, etc.

I guess the only more boring states I have been driving in was western side of MN heading to ND/SD  as well as most of Illinois.  The people I have talked to living in IL always seems to say that WI has great scenery.  Is nothing as compared to what you have for sure.

Like your Three Sisters, beautiful.

Got thinking about the name Three Sisters.   There is a series of hills between Rock Springs and Evanston WY on I-80  called Three Sisters.   Not a pretty but pretty deadly to drivers in Winter.  Then there are the Three Sisters on the Cascade Range in OR.   They may be close to matching your Three Sister, not a close together, but still beautiful to look at.

Mike,

Your roaming range is certainly the envy of most of the rest of us! Those sisters are definitely a sight to behold... I'm looking very much forward to having another gander of them one of these days... perhaps on my to or from one of y'all's gatherings! Nice ride report... really nice pic, too!

Beautiful. Someday it would be cool to see that in person. But it's a long way from Indiana too.

Fraser Canyon and Hope. My wife and I watch "Highway through Hell" on the weather channel. Takes place in that area. You get some serious weather there in the winter.

Serk

I'm lucky enough to have seen them before, but it was a long time ago and in a Toyota pickup, not a motorcycle....

We have our own Three Twisted Sisters here in The Republic, not nearly as pretty but very fun and twisty!

And I've been lucky enough to lay my eyes on The Seven Sisters in Cape Town, ZA as well, but once again, it was in a cage, not a bike...

(Not my pic)

Thanks for sharing!

I live about 30 minutes from that spot...in the Eastern end of the Fraser Valley. You're right, the Coquihala Highway, a direct high mountain pass where that show is filmed, gets very severe Winter weather. Luckily for us in the Valley, our Winters are quite mild, to the point where I can ride all year long, save for the few weeks off and on that we will have actual snow on the ground or freezing weather. Springtime is great, when we can get up into the mountains again.
