Buyer remorse?

Bought my blue 1800 last December.

Sold my black 1500 in March. Showed the buyer my service history and the receipt for BigBF's work last July.

Bike had nearly 81,000 miles on the clock.

Yesterday I saw it's for sale with about the same mileage.

The buyer told me he'd ridden one before and he had a M/C endorsement on his license. He rode it away without wobbling.

I had seller's remorse on one Valkyrie I sold for a while.  The reasons it was sold were valid but I liked the bike a lot.  I've been going back and forth on whether to sell my last Valkyrie the last year or two.  I've switched to Goldwings and the Valkyie gets about a 1000 miles a year and the Wing gets about 10,000.  It keeps getting put off because I know I can't buy another one like it.  I'll probably keep it until I quit working and we are traveling a lot more.  Interesting that you get a chance to buy yours back.  Tough choice.  Good luck in your decision.

Oh no. No buy back for me.  I've had 2 bikes at various times over the years and they seem to generate more maintenance than less. Dunno how, but that's how it seemed.

AND

The 1800 is just better than the 1500 apart from sexy looks. The 1500 wins hands down against the cat catchers.

You can't know why he's selling. 

Could be money, or a wife doesn't want him riding, or medical problems, or storage, or meth and gambling. 

Or maybe he tried to change the Ujoint boot and just decided to sell.

I bought my 1800 (2014) a few months ago.  Had alternator troubles with my 1500 (2001 Interstate) but that is fixed now.  Love them both and keeping them both!!

Yep.

I was surprised to see how few miles ridden in 6 months. I guess that's how some find really low mileage bikes.

even though I also do not ride high mileage per year,  I would also have buyer's remorse if sold either my burgman 650 or both Valks.    Not so much on my 250cc scooter though.....

I'm always on the look out for another one, just can't seem to find the right balance in miles and price and with parts becoming more scarce who knows...Maybe Honda will realize a new 1800 cruiser is in order.
