Would someone be able to give me a link to a file that I think described servicing with a series of pictures?  Thanks

Louis

The final drive URL  came from here.

http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/

Go there and look around, there's a ton of
member supplied how-to stuff there.

There's a link to shoptalk on the board too...

We were discussing the torque on the Stopper Bolt here. Scroll down to Post #11. Some members advise not to tighten it to 51 ft-lbs per manual to avoid a seized bolt later. Chrisj CMA who authored the PowerPoint Rear Wheel guide states that the Stopper Bolt simply serves as a pin.

I work on several valks and have found that bolt very tight sometimes. I use a torque wrench to install it but use Never Sieze to avoid the rust or siezing in the future.

I have taken to using anti-sieze on all threads that I R&R.  And nearly always use a torque wrench.  No more worries on siezed bolts.

Thanks Hubcapsc, that's the one I wanted. And thanks to all the others for the information on drives!
