Desertrefugee (Darrell) owned this bike until several months ago. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer last August. This AM I went over to cut his grass and found out he passed at 7 AM. He was a brilliant man with a BS in electrical engineering and a masters in IT. He could out ride me any time. His '97 bumblebee was sold to another member several months ago and now resides in MN. His hobbies included old cars, fixing up old bikes, telescopes, and a few others too. Last fall he had 3 VMaxes, a CBX, '78 GL1000 cafe bike, Kawi 1300 6 cyl, and 2 CB750s.

2017, not so long ago in the grand scheme of things. I try to make each day count for something except for taking up space. Sounds like Darrell crammed in as much as he could. Condolences to his family.
