Trip ideas for my son (non-Valk)

My youngest son is into sports cars and wants to go, with some other flatlanders, to drive the Dragon.  I have soom good ride recommendations from Joe May on routes, thanks.  Would there be some things to see, places to eat, landmarks anyone would recommend?

If he gets lost, or has to detour, tell him not to worry.  Those roads will be great, too.

Hopefully this can be incorporated into the route to IZXXIII!  It's been too long since I rode out there!

Tell him to run it a couple times each way, get the Tee shirt and move on. There are many, many roads in the area as good and less congested and maybe more important, less patrolled.
