        When I lived in East Texas an oldtimer told me of a Man that was found hung with many different caliber pistol shots in him couple of shotgun blasts ans several knife wounds in various places all over his body. Sheriff at the time ruled it the most determined case of suicide he'd ever seen. Do NOT laugh as I was approached shortly after setting up house-78-there to join the kkk. Yes.  I was just mentioning it because it's being reopened.  And rightfully, in my opinion.
I think i recall this story back then.

When I was in High school in Oklahoma, there was a report of a guy committing suicide in Texas, Johnson County, that had shot himself 8 times with a bolt action rife.  Had to reload at least once.

I get the occasional Jehovah's Witness coming around wanting to chat, but that's unique right there.

I worked a call once where the police ruled a GSW as a suicide.

The bullet went all the way through the chest and out the window.

The entrance wound was larger in diameter than my thumb.

The police determined that he shot himself with a .22 pistol that I found in the nightstand drawer.

I'm not a ballistics expert but I've always found it highly unlikely that .22 could leave that large of a wound, pass completely the chest and a closed window.

And then the person that had just shot himself could put the gun back in the nightstand and close the drawer.
