Well today was our big day for walking down the aisle.

Nancy and I said our vows in a ceremony that started at 1:00pm. Was small, just family and a couple close friends. Me being the softee tried hard but unable to hold it together totally, but we managed. Just a few watery eyes and my voice broke a couple times as did Nancy's. At the end when told it's time to kiss the bride, I cupped her face in my hands and told her "for as many years as God gives us, I'll do my best to make you happy." I then kissed her on each eye, then the lips...at which time I heard some faint OOOHS from the ladies in the chapel.

It was a small gathering so no reception, etc. I had called end of last week to make reservations at a favorite local restaurant for this evening at five, just the two of us enjoying a private meal in a quiet location. When asked, I told the lady it was a special day for us, kinda like an anniversary. She then asked "wonderful, how long" so I told her 4 hours. It took a moment then she caught on and broke out laughing.  We're happy, now planning on driving out to IZ without the trike this time and will spend a week or more visiting family and friends on our way back home. :)

Well, it's not the best shot taken but the only one I've received to pass on. I did notice it's a great picture of my double chin, an old fart's signature I guess. If one chin is good, then two must be better.  :roll:

Although Nancy critized her own appearance I had no problem with it and told her so.
