Yesterday I rode with TonyC on his previously posted ride report. MA,NH and VT great roads and beautiful weather.
Today me and Rich (aka ORCA) got in a beautiful 100+ miles in MA,CT and RI. Nice lunch stop and a stop to look at some ATVs, dirt bikes etc.
Great riding with old time VRCC members. Not quite like old times, but good times that will turn into old times.

I'm thinking of heading out on mine tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I feel a cough coming on. Don't want to pass it on at work.
So you're saying not like the old times, more like the old timers?
Sometimes you only get 2.7 seconds, make it count.

Fresh air in your face will help sooth the beginning of a cough.....

Orca

It was nice to get out for a ride.  I need to do this more often.   The weather for late October has been a blessing.   Thanks Gary.

Awesome Rick,  I don't ride in CT enough, every time I do I think to myself that I need to ride this area more. Great roads, light traffic, nice rural farmland and close to home.

I spent yesterday afternoon riding around north east Ct.
What a beautiful fall day with peak leave peeping.
I like to just pick some random town on my gps, hit avoid highways, and go where it takes me.
So many great roads I'd have never found.
I always stop at any old graveyard I come across and read markers that are still readable.
I did that one day and came across the graves of the first Ct governor Trumbull, his extended family which included William Williams his son-in-law, a signatory of the US Constitution, in Lebanon, Ct.
That was a very interesting stop.
