Last month to replace the original rattlebars 8 bar grill I already had installed, I bought the Valkyrie carbs and custom seven bar radiator grill

Me personally I like the look of the 7 bar better than the rattlebars unit. Technically I like that the 7 bar is slightly lighter and slightly more airflow. I like less weight. I like that it's polished metal and not chrome. I polished it up with some Liquid Glass, which makes polished or chrome parts to really pop in shine and protection.

Note: there is nothing wrong with the rattlebars unit, so its up for sale.

I thought the original Rattlebar unit was a 9 bar. That's what I was told mine is when I bought it. And I just double checked, it's 9 bars

I really like the bar look but availability and cost made think of making my own but not having a TIG to do it nicely, I opted to painting the grill with a Ford Toreador red that matched the pin stripe. Its a pretty subtle look which would also look nice as back ground of any number bar grill but 7 bar would be my choice for sure. I sand blasted the grill before painting.
