Based on the current WX forecast for next week, I'll be meeting my brother at 8:00 AM at the north bound Hooksett Rest area on I-93. I've got a Family commitment on Friday night, so we're going to be back on the road no later than 2:30. We typically visit Weir's Beach to shop, people watch and have lunch. Sometimes we'll stop at the Speedway on the way home. But my brother isn't interested in Demo Rides. So I doubt we'll stop.

If you'd like to meet us at the Hooksett rest area, feel free. I'll post if the plan changes because of the WX.   8)

Was that the day you were bumping and grinding under the tent with the little hottie while Marshall Tucker was blasting over the speakers..???   :o

;D I don't remember doing that. But I do remember this lovely young lady taking a picture with me. Of course I tipped her for the picture.  :cooldude:
That picture was from June 2006. Wow, 20 years ago! I don't look like that now.

LOL...I'm betting she doesn't look like that either Tony.....
We had some enjoyable times there over the years....

Had a good time up in Laconia yesterday. The Federal Holiday yesterday resulted in much less traffic on 495 N and the Everett Turnpike in NH. Normally I dread the the ride up on 495 N. But the ride up yesterday was the best in years.

After a rest stop at the Hooksett rest area to meet my Brother,  we headed up to Weir's Beach. We arrived about 9:15 and there was plenty of parking. By 11:00, the Weir's was filled up.

We strolled around and looked at the bikes. I saw a couple of Valkyries and also a Valkyrie trike.

I also saw some vintage bikes and a cool home made trike with a VW rear engine. The paint detail in air brushing on the trike was beautiful.

Naults Seacoast Indian Motorcycles had a pop-up show room in a building that looks like it's normally a restaurant. That had two lovely young ladies in bikinis outside to draw attention to the pop-up. These girls looked really young and I just couldn't take a picture without looking like a creepy old man.  ;D The prices of the bikes were ridiculous. The inflated the price and markdown prices were shown. The markdown was still quite high.

We strolled the Weir's and enjoyed the vibe. We crossed the street over to the old drive-in. A section was cordoned off with Jersey barriers. There was a motorcycle stunt show going on with young guys on their own bikes doing burnouts, wheelies, stunts and skidding around. It was cool. The crown had a Mad Max kind of vibe going on.

We had lunch outside up the hill from the Bud Tent. After lunch the Bud Tent a gotten busy with a band starting to play. And yes Terry, there were lovely ladies serving at with not much on. No pictures were taken because we didn't actually go into the tent.

We strolled the Weir's some more and just happened to be walking in back of a Hells Angel who dumped his bike on the left side into another HA's bike while trying to back into a parking spot. It was funny, but I didn't laugh. Didn't think that would be wise.

I had to be home about 5:00 so we left Weir's Beach a little after 1:30. We headed directly to the south bound Hooksett rest area to buy some booze. We took back roads to avoid 495 S and had a nice ride home.

Glad to hear you had a good time with your brother Tony...
I understand not taking pix when the subject looks too young in an old man's eyes...   ;D
