That looks great. What kind of maintenance does a wrap require? Do you just wash it or does it need special cleaners or wax?

He said he also ceramic coated it and only needs a micro fiber cloth to clean it. Will see how it does once it gets dirty.

Please keep us posted. I bought a car two years ago and had trouble finding the color I wanted. One dealer almost talked me into a wrap. He sent me a picture of one and it looked awesome.

If the price is competitive, I'd think wrapping could become a serious alternative to painting.

I have no experience with vinyl wrap.

Does it hold up?

Warlock

Don't know yet. I keep it in my shop when I'm not riding. Will try and give a 1 year review if I can still remember too :o

My understanding on the vinyl is that it holds up very well to stone chips and what would be gentle scratches (I've watched many videos on the installation process...usually on cars and trucks and most seem like a pretty heavy/thick not flimsy material, not like a window tint) and like most things the better the quality of the wrap material the better it does against the elements like sun exposure.

If you hadn't said it was vinyl wrap I would never known. Looks like your bike came painted that way. Am I out of line asking what that cost roundabout? I'm sure locales make a big difference too.
