Nice photos. I lived in the Tampa area for quite a few years and have fond memories of the Bay to Bay Blvd/Bayshore area near McDill AFB.

LOL!!...nope shaved heads are the norm now days, busy day today with the Grandkids, I like South Tampa here, not to far from the base.

I wish i had the Valk here to explore more , The kids have been in Fort Walton Beach were they own a house, and are going to be here a year or so.....Winter is going to be nice to visit here this Xmas, may stay a month or so.

The General just called us, with a chuckle, he said his gift from my son in law was kinda of a spectacle at Air port security today LOL! 105MM engraved shell from the Spectre, he said a reserve Guard was there AZAP and he said they were a big fan of the Gunship

I turned one of them 105 shells into Beer Mug....turned out to be exactly one British Pint..........kinda heavy when full of bitter though!!!!!

They have one out side the front door with sand in it for the smokers, their was some smaller shell casings around after the promotional ceremonies that night used for shot glasses looked like 30mm cut down to size lol!!, Hot and humid with the outer bands of that storm down there, I wish i had the vacation time to go to Inzane! but i had to make what i thought was the right Decision to go and support our Military.

Hey Fstsix..........This happened to me when I was using only photostash, I had to remove a pic to add another....if the source pic on the program you are using becomes unavailable you will all of a sudden get that empty box, the picture itself doesnt get stored in the post just a link to it. I cant imagine your post was sensored for any reason........but apparantly I have lots of things I dont understand

Ya know?.....my comment and question to the staff was...when you are logged on, and like i am here on response as 'quote' i can see your text, could i remove your picture in your box while i am here? not accusing staff, just thinking someone else could remove? , just out of all the pictures i have posted this Topic is most important to all of us....these are the people who give us the freedom to even sit and write this nonsense...BTW thanks for your service to our Country Jeff. Well here ya go fstsix, you have my permission to try to nix the pix...heres a pic of the beer mug I told you about...I just shined it up, unfortunately the engravings I had done on it were shallow and over years of buffing are rather hard to see, but this thing has held up for thirty years.......I put the cell phone in there for a size reference.

looks like it will just drop me down one reply, i took out your Img and it does not effect your original post, well photostash had all links valid....so ? i removed the pictures out of photostash after the problem, maybe the staff can verify as you said thanx.

What Jeff describes is correct.

Eighteen hours ago when you emailed the staff I was in the air. I didn't check the mail until this morning. I hope that's okay with everyone.

My vote is that you renamed or removed the pictures in your photostash album. If not then it's just that someone of the staff just doesn't like you. It's not I at this point.

Just kidding, of course, I think.

The pictures are no longer at the url you used to post them.

As for the snide comment, it's based on some really faulty assumptions.

Greg, I was attempting to make it a semi-lighthearted reply. I didn't get home safely. I'm stuck in Denver due to a cancelled connecting flight and in a really poor mood.

I apparently failed in my attempt to communicate gently. Contrary to your implied accusation, no one of the staff removed your pictures. That's evidenced by your statement in this thread that you removed them later. If someone else had removed them they wouldn't have been there for you to remove.

There are five of us than have the access to process staff email. There are two of us who normally do. I'm one of the two. We give no guarantee of rapid customer support.

Bluntly this time, Greg, you (or someone who knows your VRCC password) screwed up your picture links.
