May the Lord always ride two up with you!

My wife works and this was the best time for her to be available for a family vacation. We are going to Disney World in Orlando Florida.
I'm taking one day for myself and renting a ride for a day next week from here:

Which bike would you pick?

Was hoping that this would be my first.  I have made acquaintance with Black Dog up in WI, and have mingled with a few others.  REALLY looking forward to meeting so many i have only heard from on here.

BUT -

A swift parking arm took me off the bike back at the end of JUNE, and don't you know I am STILL waiting to get it back from the shop.  My broken thumb has even healed before my bike has!!!  As soon as the exhaust arrives, I get 'er back, and hopefully in time to make a run to OHIO!

I guess I'll have to dream about next year! ( unless a possible Brazil trip takes precedence! )

40' O2 hose won't reach that far.......

Had a perfect record going from 1 through 8, missed 9 and 10 due to the O2.

Damn RJ try to keep up.

Raymond  :D

Why keep up......

Momma tomato and baby tomato were out walking, Baby tomato kept falling back, momma tomato hollered back to baby tomato and said, "Ketchup."

Or something like that.   Figure Serk can dig it out and correct me, right ole buddy?

Been here for all of them and haven't made a one, this years no exception. Taking care of a 91 yr old mother requires full attention with very little time to ride, let alone head off to Inzane. I hope all in attendance has a great time and has a drink for me.

Had planned on this being my first IZ.. looking forward to meeting some folks face to face but...
Things not going well at home...  headed to divorce and unless I wanted to come home to completely empty house and losing ALL my stuff I didn't take with me,  I thought it best not to leave. I could tolerate most things,  but not losing my bike or my dog...   There is always next year when things will be better....

Hang in there.  :cooldude: It will be ruff but better in the end. Those were the only 2 things I wanted and got them. Got another loan on the Valk but its worth it.

Now you're in the world of the wolves...

Hey Mike.....is the Mazda still holding up for you?......I'm liking the Kia Sorento so far, but they are recommending changing the fluid in the rear end every 18,000 miles....I don't think the manual even mentioned that for the Mazda.....

Fudgie...  Thanks brother.   Unfortunately,  been down this road once before... lost half my stuff that time.  I promised it wouldn't happen again, but shame on me.  Now it is just about my bike, my 2yo lab Sadie and trying to avoid being stuck with more than my share of debt.   It's gonna hurt,  but I'm just trying to look through to the other side when all will be right with the world again.

Only had the Valk and been on the board a few months. Didn't know about it, Maybe in a year or two. It always seems like what little time I can get off is already spoken for.

:(  $$. Really wanted to go to this one, but being out of work for 8 months last year has left me a little behind. Maybe next year!!

I went last year and had a good time and met some good folks. But I have a lot more going on in my life than owning a Vaklyrie.

My impressions of last year are there were various groups there. The all things Valkyrie group, the crusty old veteran Valkyrie guy, mechanic Valkyrie guy, rode 800 miles without urinating guy, doodad Valkyrie guy, and a few housers Valkyrie guys like me.

If it is close again, I might come. I have such a good region to ride in that going to the midwest is sort of like a head scratcher for me.

Truthfully I am not big fan of large groups. Take to much time to make a decision and I am less and less patient the older I get.

So there are a couple of thoughts on why I am not there. I hope you guys have a good time and no gets hurt coming or going. If you are back in Colorado, might make the trip. I have to do Sturgis at least once before I croak to.

Hey Stan, yeah, the truck is still truckin'. I just had it tuned up and the old plugs (OEM), looked like new. Should have waited on the tune up. I have 111k on it and I guess the timing belt will be the next to change. You're welcome to come over and sit in it for awhile  ;D

LOL....well....I remember that the manual didn't call for a sparkplug change until a 100,000 miles....I guess they got that right!!!.... :cooldude:

The truck was paid for....I just hated the thought of it sitting out in the weather and rarely being used.....I've been knocking around the idea of buying an old beater Ranger in the 89-92 year range as a "trash" truck.....I had a '90 Ford Ranger before that '99 Mazda.....of course Ford made that truck too.....my Daddy was always a Chevy Man.....
