Ok, I currently have Avon Venoms on both front and rear, both need replaced this week.....so I purchased a goodyear assurance triple tred P205/60R16 for the rear and a Kenda 150/70-17 (K671) for the front the Kenda looks about 2" smaller than the front tire currently and the bike (the Avon is a 150/80R17) ..... My question is did I purchase the wrong front tire? Will the Kenda that I purchased function with the GoodYear TT?

You feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

I have the same tire on the front an love it .Yes it is smaller an your speedo will show like you are going faster because of the smaller diameter.I also have a car tire on the rear an have been riding with one for seven years now.I am aunning a 195-55 ct.It gives a little less bump steer.Your kenda will wine at highway speeds due to the deep thread.I kind of like it so enjoy.Art

Thanks Art!
An other question, will having the smaller tire (Kenda 150/70) on front and the GoodYear 205/60 in the rear make the bike lower on the front than the back?

Thanks,

yes the smaller tire in the front will lower the front an the bigger tire on the rear will raise thr rear but I don't think it will affect the handling. I have the same tire of the front an 195 -55 on the rear an the valk handles great up to 125 mph which I did two weeks ago.Art
