OK...bout at my wits end on this.....any tricks or tips on how to re-install the little metal "spring nuts" back into their proper slots in an I/S trunk?  The clips that hold the cable stoppers (#11) that prevent the turnk lid from opening past 90* or so....and the same spring nuts that hold the plastic wall (#15) to the forward portion of the trunk.  I've lost two so far inside the trunk walls and they are expensive little things ($2.50 each) to replace.

TIA !!

Pinch them a bit, so when they're placed, they stay there....

Understand the pinch tip - thanks.  MY problem is getting them back in place...can't figure out how to get them positioned into the little slots in the first place.

Got to love taking the trunk off every time you drop one inside the shell...don't ya??

I looped a piece of dental floss in the clip so i could fish it out when (note I didn't say if) it fell inside.  This also helped me position the clip so i could grab the clip with a pair of needle nose pliers once it was in place then I was able to get it back where it belonged.  It was a challenge at best.

Thanks Joe...great tip...that would seem to solve the "droppsie" problem but I still can't figure out how to the darn thing to slide into the hole/slot to put in position to attached the parts with the screw.
