Interstate fell over in the garage due to the kickstand being too long, fixed that by shortening the kickstand a half inch, sustained a small crack from the edge of the fairing, can that be fixed with pvc glue, or is the fairing fibreglass?  Also creased the trunk on my collector Mustang where it fell against it.  I can fix that, a little skim and paint and clearcoat.  The fairing is mostly cosmetic, but I don't want the crack to get any bigger.  The Interstate is our trip bike, it gets its share of nicks and scrapes from being on the road.    Hoser

Your fairing is ABS. The crack won't expand. Plastic resin repair kits are available from http://www.colorrite.com/product/colorrite-plastic-repair-kit-1060.cfm as well as paint.

Well the question is moot.  Took a ride and the fairing started fluttering in the wind, seems it is broken across the front, duct taped it together and went to see the insurance guy, gonna have to replace the fairing, hopefully they are still available new.  Did I mention I've got GOOD insurance?    Hoser

I bought a fairing skin new a couple of years ago. It cost $328 as I recall. Not too hard to replace. HDL has various part numbers due to paint differences. Call HDL to make sure you get the right color.
