FYI:  That video clip has been around for a while.  The "Airborne Laser Test Bed" successfully shot down several test missiles earlier this year.

He said he helped on this project and I have no reason to doubt him.

Machine Shop Foreman for a period of time at the Oak Ridge Tennessee (Boeing Plant) location is his

connection.

His first name  is Alan. His last name starts with A, as well, if that helps.
