Tank emblem

When I bought my 1998 Tourer in 2001, the tank emblems were already removed because the original owner liked the "clean" look.  I bought some on ebay a few years ago, but delayed installing them because, after having a custom paint job, I couldn't decide if I wanted to do more with the paint scheme.  I've decided to leave it a solid color, so I applied the tank emblems today, but now I'm wondering if they are the right ones for my year because they have the F6 above the wing.  It's not a bid deal, since it is  no longer stock since it is not a factory color, but is anybody and expert on which tank emblems go with which year?

I am pretty sure you are OK.  I believe they went to the maidenhead when the IS came out in 99.

I had these custom made and shipped for $100. I was going to mount them on the tank, but decided to go for the saddle bag instead because I wasn't sure I could mould them enough for the thank.
If anybody would like to try a tank mount with this design, let me know and I'll send you a link to the place that made them for me. He's probably still got the pattern.
That's my wife's face if it bother's anybody.
