fender on my 97 valk rusted thru. I have it fixed but need new paint. What is the best way to get matching paint. I have found noone that carries a Honda paint. Has anyone found something that matches the Honda red and white used on the 97 Valks?

I've never bought from them, but Color Rite is a popular place.  My next door neighbor just painted his kit car with their Yamaha R1 blue.

Even if it's not a perfect match, the distance between the rear fender and the tank would make it harder to tell. 

Another option: When I had my hardbags painted, my paint guy sent me to the local Akzo Nobel distributor who took a high-resolution digital picture of the yellow and used their software to develop the recipe.  I'm sure other paint manufacturers also have that capability.

I used colorrite rattle cans on my trunk, fairing & pods and am very happy with the match. Color is perfect. You do have to be careful with the 2-part colors requiring a pearl finish. Use too much and you drastically darken the color. You must do a test sprayout first.
Colorrite's colors are virtually perfect and I think it's even better then OEM.

Prime, wet sand, color, clearcoat, wet sand, polishing compound & ball, scratch remover then wax.

Considering the very high prices at colorite, I went to NAPA when I wanted paint for my saddlebags.  They took an electronic scanner and scanned the paint in about 3 places on my Valk.  Then used that to match the colors.  It came out pretty well considering the amature spraying the paint.
