New Shocks - 11.5 or 12 inch???

Im getting ready to order some new shocks for my Valk.  I have an '03 Standard and I ride solo the majority of the time.  Im 5' 9" about 180 lbs.  Not a canyon carver at all.  Im most likely going with the Progressive 430's.  Like to hear from others with the 11.5 and 12 inch lengths and feedback if your happy with them. They dont have to be 430's, just those lengths.   Im making my Valk into a low, lean muscle bike.  I will also be lowering the front end next.  Thanks.

Heres my 97 with the Progressive 412's at 11.5". I'm 165 and don't bottom out.

If you never carve up the hills you can get away with 11.5" but I would not reccomend anything less than 12" for the real world. Remember that Progressives do not nhave the same sag as the OEs so the 12.5" is equal to a stock ride of 13".

I got the 12" 440´s HD. The bike is a bit lower than OE. I´m happy with them.

I have 11.5 Progressive 412's on my bike, ride the Smokeies and never have had any problem. Oh and run a 205 55 16 car tire which drops the bike even more. I do drag the floor boards some.

I think Im leaning towards the 11.5's right now.  Nice pics guys.  Got more side views though?

Nice.  Did you do anything to the forks?  BTW, I just ordered the 11.5 inch Progressive 430's in black.
