handlebar wire clips

So how do you undo the circular clips holding the brake, etc cables on the handlebars?

The male part slides sideways out of the other end.

push the two halves apart sideways.

   I found that with a good light and a small screwdriver
pushed into the end, it will release the end and it will open.
   They are held on the barsby a small nob on the bars.
with a clip that is snapped over it.

Black wire ties are sold at most dollar stores. Not reusable, but the original neat clips are barely reusable.

bingo!  Exact same here.  I drilled a hole at the bottom of the bar and tapped in a philipss head screw.  Wrapped the wire in the middle,  secured the harness, twisted the ends of the wire and then hid the end into the top.  Clean look and very easy.

I just wrapped the wire around the post on the bars and then postioned the cable over the top of the post. all that is seen up close is the thin wire.

I believe the OE bar clips are one-inch for all the wires that must be enclosed on the Valk bars (there are smaller sizes available).

Some time back, I found replacement clips in chrome plastic.... but I can't find them anymore.  Bet they're still out there.
