Just did the front brake pads, changed the fluids and cleaned her up good. On the way home the bike just would not turn to go home. after 40 miles it seemed to losen up ok and and I made it home . I think as the weather warms up it will just get worse. I now have a total of 93 miles on my 98 new to me tourer [45687 total]and LOVE this bike! The best $4600 I have ever spent.

Hey Phil Had a similar problem the other day too. My GPS's feature of "Go Home" just didn't work for almost 2 hours. Finally had to go manual just before dinner time.Guess this time of year, after a long winter, our Valks just don't want to go home but stay outside and play. Hope things work out for you as it gets warmer.

Sorry about the confuising post.

Happens all the time. If I'm "lost" and miss my exit its almost 18 miles round trip to get back. My exit has a really hairy U-turn going west so I cant take that one and I might get "lost" again.
Its happened.

My wife can't figure out how a 15 minute drive from work can turn into a 2 or 3 hour traffic jam....Hmmmmmm  :cooldude:

Kim used to wonder why I took so much longer to ride home from work than when I drive.

Now that she has her own Valkyrie she no longer wonders!  ;)

I like the color of your ride...
It's not WHAT you ride....it's  THAT you ride!

My Wife used to always yell from the back, "hey you missed the turn", and I'd say what turn, then the next one you gotta turn here to go home, I again what turn, :D now she just sits back and enjoys the detour..... :cooldude:

Yeah it often takes me a hundred miles or more to make the 20 miles to work...

Something fundamental in the design of these things methinks...

Makes perfect sense to me.  I went to the grocery store for a gallon of milk last week.  75 miles later, I'm leaving the grocery store and making the 2 mile trip back to the house.  To avoid the "traffic", during "rush hour" I went via Iowa.   8)

The end of January (had a January thaw) I rode up to Crater Lake.  It is 50 miles from my door.  Valk showed 180 miles by the time I got back home.  ;D ;D ;D
