Valk lift/jack adapter

I need a new adapter and lost the website where I got the last one. Could use some help here.

Just curious, will this bolt on adapter that you leave on your bike interfere with the clearance?

If installed as intended it will be level (coplanar) with the bottom of the engine

Mine is one that the guy in SD built and sold.   Can't think of his name.

We changed the bottom of the adapter to fit the big round stub hole on a floor jack.    Slide it in from the right and start pumping, when it gets close, stand bike straight up, position the adapter where it goes and presto, rest is history.

I've used it enough this way I can hit the spot without looking 9 out of 10 times.

Also, my jack is a wide front wheeled floor jack.     Don't remember what we had it for at the shop, but it was setting in the corner gathering dust and it was slow that day.  Took us about 4 hours, off & on to convert it and make it work like it should.  Someplace out there we still have the old jack like Harbor Freight, Sears and a few of them sell.

I just didn't want the excess weight hanging on the bike.

I just recieved mine. It shipped in 4 days. On my way to Sears, how do I not have a 17mm open end?
Looks like it will work very well.

I have seen the bolt on's. Like RJ said :

Just install the bolt on one.  Bought it from Ebay.  Wish I had purchased one years ago.  Made cleaning the wheels about a 20 minute job by just spinning the wheel.  As for adding extra weight?  Maybe 2 pounds.  Not much to speak of since gas weighs 6 pounds a gallon.

Thanks guys for all the help. As long as it's even with the casing I guess it'll be ok and a couple pounds is alright- I just put on 2 lbs a few hours ago!
