Looking for a Shop Stool

What I thought I wanted was a three legged milking stool, but I am having a difficult time finding one.  So maybe a shop stool?  I would like something that goes as low as 12 inches off the floor (and would accept a non-adjustable 12 inch stool).  Wheels, a tool tray, and pneumatic adjustment are all pluses.

I am now looking at the Performance W85008 Roller Stool, but I think it drops to 15 inches minimum, and I would not mind something lower.  Looking to polish wheels, etc.

I will be away from the computer most of Sunday and Monday.

Any suggestions?

  Got one at Lowes about a year ago with lift to move up and down and area under the stool to throw tools and parts in.  Works great and not very expensive though i do not remember cost.  i'm sure it would work out for you, has 4 wheels and easy to roll around garage without getting up.

The harbor freight one does look good.
Now if some enterprising putterer would rig one up with an air hose attachment to raise you to a standing position with the push of a button!
Think how quiet it would be to get to a standing position without the knee popping and hip grinding and grunting!

I have that exact one, love it....but wanted the one with the flames

have two of the hf with flames..took one apart and put an oem valkyrie seat on it....it's my favorite.

Harbor Freights would have been my suggestion too... was in there yesterday, but didn't check pricing on these as I wasn't in the market for one myself. They have a couple of different ones... MC seat on one, tractor seat on another etc.

I pulled my neighbors Office Task Chair from the trash and removed the back....It's pretty comfy when rolling around the bike or car, and rolls very easily.  Best of all it was FREE, if it breaks I got another one in my office I'm ready to use.

A few years ago I asked for the HF roller stool for Christmas. My daughter couldn't remember the HF reference and got me a Craftsman stool. The best mistake she ever made. It has much better wheels and a better tool tray. It rolls over a crack in the floor with ease. The 12" requirement won't be made but it gets pretty low.

I have the Craftsman one too.  The only way they could've made it any better would have been to put a backrest and a drink holder on it.

bought a Big Red from Big Lots for $25 it is designed for big boys like me I am 6'7" and 330 pounds and the stool has been working great for me for over 10 years.

If you're looking to get really low to polish wheels and stuff then consider one of the creepers that turns into a "birthing chair". I's what I use for doing brake work on landing gear and general scooting around under the aircraft. Went with the Craftsman because of a sale and a $10 coupon (and the recommendations of Sandy and BF).

I can pick it up as soon as the weather keeps me from riding to work.

That's what I use, an office chair with the backrest & armrests removed. You can often find a great one at a used office furniture place since they don't know you'll be throwing a third of it away when they price it.
