Titan

No imagination whatsoever and no really cool stories like the rest of you.

One of my vehicles is a Nissan Titan.

"Divco"... I've always wondered if your handle had something to do with the old milk trucks from a bygone era. Those are the coolest looking rigs ever made. Way cool!

Mine is a truncated version of an Americanized three syllable German surname. Tagged with it since 9th grade P.E. class. When I was in the Navy "Mr." was casually added as a prefix. I still have a coffee cup with my nickname on it forty years later. The mister part was dropped a long time ago. My brothers, son and daughter answer to the handle as well. Riding buds of ours coined the handle of me and the wife unit as "2 sheets to the wind". Just the way it is.  8)

5_19

5_19 as in five foot nineteen inches tall. For the last 30 years it goes something like this...... Man you are tall....how tall are you? I can always tell, who knows math, who doesn't and some just can't believe I am not at least 6 feet  :2funny: :2funny: Like Motomama...... I can hear her laughing now ;D

Mr. Nuts

It's not what you think!

We live on a well known river in Montana and my wife and I are kinda nutty about flyfishing. Years ago we named a small business "Trout Nuts" and we had that printed on our checks. So I write a check at Safeway for groceries and the young female clerk looks at the check and does her best to thank me by name as she has been taught...

"Thank You Mr. Nuts" she says... and I could barely contain myself.

My next stop was my bank where I tell them the story and they all start howling with laughter. Soon nobody at the bank even remembers my real name. They all know me as "Mr. Nuts" and my wife as "Mrs. Nuts".

It spread like wildfire and many years later I am still:

It probably fits a little too well sometimes...

And it's a little too easy for people with cell phones to remember...and darn hard to convince the cop that you didn't do it....when your plate says "Mr. Nuts".

fordmano

Mine is about as DUMB as they come,,,

It is actually 2 fold as to why I ended up with (fordmano). I was raised with Fords, always owned a Ford, built a few wrecked a few modified a few, and disposed of a few. I have 4 to my name currently; I have owned only 4 NON Ford brand cars or trucks, although only 2 of them were from the other team. I had 1 '79 Suburban, 1 '84 Chevy chassis RV, then you get to the ones that the company either is owned by or was owned by ford had a 73 Mazda RX3 wagon (came with the marriage) and a '74 Jaguar XJS 4 liter. I have had a couple Mercury's also.

Then way back when my first ever email address/service provider I signed up when they let you pick your name my wife and I couldn't figure out what to use so we panic decided and said FordMan well the system came back and said that name was already used so they offered a couple suggestions and they were such as fordman1, fordman2, fordman3 you get the picture and I decided that I wanted to be at least a full digit a head of the rest so I choose fordman0  and then that was taken and so my wife said you like MAYO on your sandwiches and I do love me some SAMMICHS so she said use the letter "O" but I did not want to use a capitol letter to end with so I used lower case "o" and there you GO.

fordmano.

Although looking backwards I should have used the nickname the wife has always called me "OverKill" and still does even to this day because whenever I do or have done anything project wise I will always OVERKILL the engineering or flashiness or the size or whatever,,, I built a 12+' tall Beer Bong (held a gallon of beer and would empty in 2.8 seconds throwing a 4' stream of beer ¾" in diameter, it was INSANE (OverKill) back when we were doing all that stupid kids style drinking.  Had to add a red light on top to keep the airplanes from crashing into the house it was taller than my house and we are in the flight path for the local municipal airport. They actually use my roof as a land mark I have been told by local pilots and police and fire folks...

I know what you mean, Black Dog. I'm on my 12th year with my black lab, Elvis and he was a rescue dog. Best animal I've ever been lucky enough to be blessed with.

~ Timbrwolf

....always had a love of nature and all of its creations..at the time I was a soilitude creature, and I felt a definite affinity towards Wolves and the way they lived their lives...my family soon tuned in on this intererest of mine, and before I knew it every birthday and Christmas I was presented with another ...Wolf themed Item....bout 20 years ago I came "on line" and used to access the Internet via AOL...I needed a "handle" for my account, and after trying multiple (what I thought were cool names)...only to find they had already been taken...I decided that Timberwolf was a good one...but that was taken also...as was just about every variation of the name....so I took Timbrwolf1....then I bought my Valk and left AOL for another Provider.....soon after buying my State I began "research" on the net about the bike....and stumbled onto The VRCC.....I joined and needed a "handle"....so 10 years ago...Timbrwolf was born..  8)

bigguy

There was a TV show back in the early 80s called "Filthy Rich." The premise was that a rich guy died and left a video will. His family consisted of several characters, including the gold digging wife played by Delta Burk. (Man she was HOT in those days.)
The rich guy, played by Slim Pickens was named Big Guy Beck. You'd see him in every episode detailing some ridiculous task the family members would have to do in order to inherit any money. For reasons that I do not understand to this day, my wife started calling me Big Guy after the Slim Pickens character. I am 6'1", tip the scales at 235, and my name is Guy. But it was old Slim Pickens that got me stuck with this handle.
It made me mad for years. I didn't like it, but she never faltered for a second. As with most things in our marriage, she got her way and I'm BigGuy.
Here there be Dragons.

POPS 57

I answered one of these before but here goes. My dad liked old cars and had a few of them when he died. Me and my brother were always building him one or working on one of them for him. Thats why he could afford them. My brother is a good wheeler/dealer and the labor was free. When he died me and L.B. [little brother] sat down and talked about whats next. He had a 69 Camaro convert in #1 shape a 41 Ford car all org. even the paint a 67 Chev. pickup all custom paint and motor. And the 57 Chev. convert. I said to L.B. that the only one i am intrested in is the 57. You can have all the rest. Well the 57 still needed a lot of work. I think thats why i wanted that one. When i went to put plates on it i wanted DADS 57 but that was taken. So i settled on POPS 57 for the plates. And that is what they say is the rest of the story. One of these days i will have to figure out how to post a picture on here.
And as i shifted into 5th I couldn't remember a thing she said.

Used to drink a lot of "liquid courage".....combine that whis a goodly amount of "little man syndrome" and you can guess the rest.  I got in a coulple of major brawls up in the stands a some Alanta knights hockey gameds and got the name Thumper.  I used to play a lot of pool and really enjoyed a good competetive game against a classy player, however, there is was always some som' bitch with a smart mouth and a desired to dance.  As long as the liquid courage wasn't too for along i scored many major secesses and gained a bit of a rep.  I needed a nickname when I joined the VTXOA so the name just kinka stuck.

Today the guns are put up and I try to just get along. 8)

Stormrider65

I went with quite a few CB handles in the past.  None of them seem to fit.  I went riding with a friend in Arkansas on a Labor Day weekend going to Mena AR.  Going around a right hand corner I saw a squall line coming at us.  We barely got clear before it hit.  Rode in the rain to Mena from there.  About a year later, I was between Lafayette and Jennings La about noon time going westbound.  Suddenly it became dark outside, so dark that the streetlights came on. The rain came straight down first, then rain and high winds from the left side, then quit for a moment, then from the right side, and slowly started to get daylight again.  Never found out what that was, but came up with the name Stormrider.  My last bike was an '83 V-65 Magna.  Great bike.  So came Stormrider65.  But Stormrider is my CB handle.  I've went by that for 15 years now.

highcountry

I live in Colorado.  FYI, the lowest elevation in the state is 3315 ft and you can ride your bike above 14000 ft up Mt. Evans.

vicrider

I only started on boards about 1999. Was doing a whole lot of tournament bass fishing at that time and became Bassman on several boards. As I got into more boards that was often taken so since I've been riding my Vic since 2004 I just started a spin off the Vic.

When I signed on here Bassman was taken so I used the fallback handle. Maybe I'll have to start changing the Vicrider to Valkrider in the future. Not 'til I do a lot of add ons to the Valk tho.
