I've only met Paul in person briefly a couple of times, but I've viewed with interest and admiration the posts on the board of his fighting spirit and his positive outlook.

I was wondering if some of you who ride occasionally with Thumper could post some of your pictures and maybe tell a few stories about or on him?

Paul, you're in my thoughts and prayers often these days.

In the old days, we used to hang out with the same college crowd at Clemson, we both remember
a whole bunch of the same people, but don't really remember each other...

In the new days, he's hard to keep up with when you get him on a road he knows and likes...

Here he is right before he is going acorn hunting.

Paul(Thumper) and Mike(HUBCAP) on the same ride to see what we could see.

They do this riding because it makes them HAPPY>

Hmmmmm.....where to start??......Paul is a passionate guy about riding and if you've ever seen any of his work, you'd see how serious he takes that also..... :cooldude:......He and I have had numerous rides together over the last few years......shared a room a time or two.....and BS'd with the best of them.....I'd like to share a few pics of my Friend Paul.....

He's a Lady's Man when he wants to be.....

I can thank him for chatting this Hot Babe up and letting me slide in for a pic with her at one of the Hoot's a few years ago.....Thanks Buddy!!..... :cooldude:

Here's one from the ride back from Talladega when we were at Cheaha a few years ago....he had just bought that black I/S a few month before, and  he was still getting to know it......my GPS's shortest route back led us on a 4-5 mile section of dirt road that got progressively worse the closer we got to the top of the mountain before finally breaking out onto pavement again.....he hung in there like the Champ that he is....I can count myself lucky to have met such a Friend.....God Bless you Paul and I am praying for you no matter how you decide to go forward.....it's been a hell of a ride so far!!...... :cooldude:

Puddled up :'(

With a smile on my face  ;)

We've all got to go eventually....God just thought it would be funny to let me know in advance.

Until then don't count Thumper out until you see the box going into the ground.

In the words of Smokin' Joe....

Bring it....let's ride! :cooldude:

He's generally known as the "Blood Mountain Whore" down here with our group because even if we're going south we still have to first go north and over Blood Mountain or he pouts all day.

Some great posts here. Nice job Stanley  :cooldude: (it is not often I could say that!)

Paul is fighter and a good friend. We are trying to help him enjoy the time he has and hoping that is a lot longer than the Dr expects.

He's is fun to ride with too!  :cooldude:

Haven't seen them for years.
